This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you visit this website, make an enquiry, or take part in coaching services. It is guided by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. Personal information
Necessary personal information is collected when you make an enquiry, book a session, complete forms, or take part in coaching. This may include your name, contact details, information relevant to your coaching goals, and, where relevant, health-related information you choose to share, as well as basic payment-related information.
2. How information is used
Personal information may be used to respond to enquiries, provide coaching services, manage bookings and communication, and meet professional, ethical, and credentialing requirements.
3. Confidentiality and professional practice
Confidentiality is a core part of the coaching relationship. Information shared during coaching is treated as confidential and is only disclosed where you have provided consent, disclosure is required by law, or there is a reasonable belief of serious or imminent risk of harm. Coaching is a non-clinical service and does not involve diagnosis, treatment, or medical care.
4. Recordings, notes, and supervision
With your consent, coaching sessions may be held online and recorded for professional purposes. Recording is optional, and you may opt out or withdraw consent at any time. Information from sessions may be reviewed by the coach or, with consent, shared confidentially for professional supervision, training, assessment, or accreditation purposes, in line with coaching ethics. Specific consent arrangements are outlined in the client agreement.
5. AI-assisted tools
AI-assisted tools may be used to support session notes and summaries. You may opt out at any time by letting me know, and this will not affect your coaching.
6. Storage and security
Reasonable steps are taken to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, or disclosure. Information is stored electronically using secure, password-protected systems and trusted platforms, and retained only for as long as reasonably necessary.
7. Third-party platforms and service providers
Trusted third-party platforms may be used to support the delivery of coaching services, including website hosting, analytics, communication, video conferencing, practice management, and payment tools. These providers are selected with care and are required to handle any personal information securely and only for the purposes it was shared.
8. Website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to collect de-identified information about how visitors use the site, helping to improve content and functionality.
9. Access and correction
You may request access to the personal information held about you, or request corrections if information is inaccurate or out of date, by getting in touch using the contact details below.
10. Complaints
If you have a concern about the handling of your personal information, please get in touch in the first instance using the contact details below. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
